Medical health check

Medical health check: get fit safely

The fitness and health check is the basis for our training together. Here we test your current state of health and create an individual training concept. In the course of the personal training, we repeat this medical safety test, the so-called “re-check”, at regular intervals. In this way you maintain full control. It is very motivating to see your values improve and move toward achieving your goals. My health check includes:

  • Questionnaire on fitness and state of health (medical history form)
  • Body weight measurement, determination of heart rate, blood pressure
  • BMI
  • Determination of basic metabolic rate (BMR)
  • Body screening
  • Classification with the bioelectronic impedance analysis
  • Measurement of body fat percentage
  • Measurement of body water percentage
  • Muscle mass measurement
  • Bone mass measurement
  • Strength, flexibility and coordination test
  • Girth measurement with the waist-to-hip ratio
  • Photo analysis: before/after

By the way, various studies have shown that endurance training…

  • increases performance capability even after a short time
  • reduces frustration, stress and aggression
  • makes it more likely to get through the year without an infection
  • lowers blood pressure. Dosages of medication can often be lowered following commencement of health-oriented endurance training
  • improves blood fat values, and cholesterol, and stimulates fat metabolism
  • offers a certain protective effect against some types of cancer. This is especially the case for the risk of intestinal and breast cancer. “People who perform approx. 3 to 4 hours of moderate endurance training weekly have a risk of intestinal cancer that is approx. 30 percent lower and a risk of breast cancer (women) that is approx. 20 percent lower than that for physically inactive people.” (For source, see below)
